Battle for the crown heats up: 15 Miss Kalinga 2025 candidates officially sashed and presented

Tabuk City, Kalinga - The 30th Kalinga Founding Anniversary and 6th Bodong Festival commenced on Monday, February 3, 2025, with great enthusiasm, featuring the presentation and sashing of the official candidates for Miss Kalinga 2025 as one of its main highlights.

 

The presentation and sashing signaled the start of the journey of the chosen iKalinga young women to compete for the most sought-after title, representing the beauty, culture, and empowerment of the province.

 

With immense pride and excitement, Dr. Beda Malecdan, the chairperson for the 2025 Miss Kalinga Competition, led the said event. The candidates were accompanied by their supporters as they represented their local government units, sectors, or parties.

 

The candidates presented were Ms. Jemmae Biangdan of the Kilos Mamamayan Ngayon na Partylist, Ms. Claire Baguitan of Rizal LGU; Ms. Madelyn Gazzingan of the Office of the Congressman, Ms. Angel Destiny Garcia, sponsored by Caroline Cares; Ms. Raiza Jane Gatin of LGU Tanudan; Ms. Fanlee Valdez, Pasil LGU; Ms. Christine Joy Bagwingan, sponsored by Sustainable Livelihood Program; and Ms. Ehdrian Nicole Pinated, sponsored by Pallayoc Clan.

 

Other candidates include Ms. Ezra Kiser Lagasi of Tabuk City LGU, Ms. Fatima Rose Peralta of Lubuagan LGU; Ms. Anita Nawi, sponsored by DPWH Lower Kalinga; Ms. Lea Kim Salipnget, Pinukpuk LGU; Ms. Guiajill Garrino, Balbalan LGU; Ms. Mary Ann Solog, Tinglayan LGU, and Ms. Shaila Mae Dumalan of Ingco Tools by Malabong Hardware.

 

These contenders, according to the Miss Kalinga 2025 Committee, are not just competing for the title but are also representing Kalinga's dedication to advancing women’s empowerment.

 

Miss Kalinga 2025 remains one of the highly anticipated events of the Bodong Festival, drawing much attention from both locals and tourists.

 

The pageant serves as a platform for iKalinga young women to excel and as a means to celebrate the province's beauty and rich culture that has been maintained through generations.
