Tabuk City, Kalinga – A concert for a cause is set to be held on August 20 at the Grind Spot in Dagupan Weste in Tabuk City to help raise fund for the immediate operation of a 14-year-old boy with rheumatic heart disease.

The concert featuring the United Musicians of Kalinga starts at 6:00 in the evening of Saturday at the Grind Spot located at the La Elegonza building.

The event is for John Berchman Lardizabal Fernandez who was recommended for immediate operation by the Philippine Heart Center last August 8, 2022.

More than a week since the doctor told John’s family about the urgency of the operation, the money needed have not yet been obtained. The family could not send him for the procedure yet as the operation costs P897,892. An amount the family does not have.

John’s mom, Cristal Mae Gumpad Lardizabal Fernandez, earlier said they have been having a hard time trying to find the required amount for the operation, explaining they do not have other financial source apart from her husband’s monthly salary.

To help John survive his ordeal against rheumatic heart disease, you can buy tickets for the concert at the UCCP church in Dagupan or you may contact Joshua Daguasi through 09064009556.

Tickets are being sold at P150 each. All proceeds of the concert will be given to John.
