Cyclists set to conquer 37-kilometer route to Cagayan via Balong, Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Want to experience the new route going to Tuao, Cagayan with friends and fellow bike enthusiasts?

 

Grab your bicycles and helmets and join the Fun Bike Adventure this Saturday, May 11, 2024.

 

Said adventure, initiated by Kalinga Governor James Edduba and Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba, involves pedalling a 37-kilometer scenic route to Tuao, Cagayan via Balong, Tabuk City instead of plying the Kalinga – Cagayan Road via Nambaran.


Kalinga Provincial Information Officer Dionica Alyssa Legasi relayed that the two governors came up with the activity as a way of introducing the Department of Tourism and Department of Trade and Industry Convergence Road connecting Kalinga to Cagayan via Balong – Kinama, Rizal – Tuao East.

 

Those who are 14 years old and above are welcome to join the event for free.

 

Waivers, which the participants need to sign, are available at the Local Youth Development Office at the Provincial Capitol.

 

Assembly time for the event is at 4:00 a.m. at the Provincial Capitol Grounds.
