Daytime robber breaks into house in Tabuk, takes P.1M from cooperative officer

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Robbers in Tabuk City move at any hour, even at daytime where there is a higher risk of getting caught by anyone.


The latest victim of robbery in Tabuk City is a 51-year-old Officer-in-Charge of the Challengers Agricultural Cooperative and a resident of Saudi, Bulo.


Said victim sought the help of the Tabuk City Police Station on Monday morning, September 9, after coming home to his house with his cash and some valuables missing.


According to him, he left their house around 7:00 a.m. and when he returned an hour later, he found out their place to have been ransacked with their belongings in disarray. The 51-year-old further told the police he went to check the drawer in their bedroom and discovered that the cash amounting to more than P100,000 was missing along with the blue belt bag containing documents belonging to the Saint Vincent Anglican Church.


Tabuk police investigators who came to check the house found out that the culprit gained entry through the window by destroying the lock with an old ‘bolo’.



The Scene of the Crime Operatives team in Kalinga processed the place of incident, and the authorities are still establishing the identity of the suspect.
