Conner, Apayao – The Conner District Hospital (CDH) is now ready to attend to dialysis patients with its new CDH Dialysis Center, benefitting not just Conner residents but also patients coming from neighboring towns.

Said new dialysis facility, which formally opened on May 29, 2025, has 15 dialysis machines and trained staff to assist patients requiring treatment.

The new center addresses the rising number of kidney-related illnesses, significantly reducing the burden on patients who face extensive travel to undergo dialysis.

The Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretaries Achilles Gerard C. Bravo and Dr. Glenn Mathew G. Baggao, along with DOH-Cordillera Regional Director Dr. Ferdinand Benbenen, attended the inauguration of the center. Their presence at the ceremony underscores the national government's commitment to providing healthcare services to underserved areas.

The initiative showcases a collaborative effort between the DOH and the Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA). The dialysis center is the third facility for dialysis treatment in the province. The other two are at the Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center and Flora District Hospital.
