DON’T CALL YOUR FRIEND UGLY WHILE DRINKING: Man in Isabela beaten after calling drinking buddy “PANGIT”

Ilagan City, Isabela - A supposed to be happy drinking session in Barangay Fuyo, Ilagan City, Isabela, turned violent after a man was beaten following an offensive remark he made during the gathering. 

The victim, hidden under the name “Johnson,” sustained bruises and scratches on different parts of his body due to the attack. 

A police report obtained by a local media outlet in Isabela did not mention the date of the incident, but it was reported to have happened just recently. 

In the investigation conducted, an altercation started during the drinking session when Johnson, in a drunken state, called one of his drinking buddies “Ang pangit mo”.

Then, what started as a casual “inuman” ended in chaos as the person Johnson called ugly took offense to the remark, and the man and his brother decided to beat him. 

Johnson was attacked by alias “Bryan” and alias “Jayvin,”. It was not indicated in the report who was pissed off by the victim. 

Johnson ended up at the hospital for medical treatment.

Notified, the responding authorities arrested Bryan and Jayvin, who were brought to the Ilagan Police Station. Police said appropriate charges are now being prepared against the two brothers.
