Tanudan, Kalinga – With only P20.00 entrance fee, the public can enjoy the crystal-clear water and scenic view at the Tawang Falls in Sitio Cabugao, Pangol in the Municipality of Tanudan.

Tawang Falls, which is located along the waters of the Donglayan River, is the newly-launched eco-tourism destination in Tanudan. The new tourism gem offers a beautiful view, serene surroundings, and a perfect place for swimming. It was a hidden treasure to many until the Tanudan Run on December 20, 2025 which formally opened the destination to the public.

Attended by at least 180 runners and nature enthusiasts, the event generated P60,000 for the construction of a male and female toilet facility at the site. The amount was turned over to Barangay Pangol on January 13, 2026.

According to the Tanudan Municipal Tourism Office, the collection of P20.00 entrance fee from visitors aims at supporting the sustainability and proper maintenance of the newly-opened tourism site.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag is inviting the public to come see and experience the beauty and serenity of the Tawang Falls with their loved ones. He added that the place is a great destination for anyone who wants to take a break from their busy lives without having to drive for longer hours since the site is only 30-40 minutes away from Tabuk City via the Cudal-Lay-asan-Pangol route.
