Gov. Tubban reminds public on safeguarding environment



Tanudan, Kalinga – “Nu makita tayo nga pakadadaelan ti environment tayo, pangaasi tayo met a ta lappedan tayo met dagiti kakailyan tayo,” appealed Governor Ferdinand Tubban during the groundbreaking of the Banneng – Darulog – Bawac Farm-to-Market Road Improvement project on April 22, 2022.


Speaking to the Tanudan communities and guests, Tubban asked them to plant trees that will reduce runoff and slope erosion.

“Han na met kayat a saoen nga iparit nga agmula ka, pilyem met diay imulam tapnu iti kasta, maprotektaran tayo met dagitoy nga pagbibiyagan tayo,” explained the governor.


Preventing landslides or soil erosions, Tubban continued, will also safeguard the Farm-to-Market Road.


“Sapay kuma ta daytoy maipaay a bendisyon nga ited ti Apo nga inusar na ti adu-adu a tattao wennu adu nga ahensiya, ikkan tayo kuma iti naan-anay a panang-protektar wennu panang-ayat, ket mamatiak nga adda dayta iti puso ken panpanunut tayo,” he added.

The governor thanked the community for embracing the development that will pave the way to progress.


“Daytoy a development ket para kadakayo met laeng a kakakailyan ti ili a Tanudan ta nu agprogreso kayo ket ti intero a Kalinga ket agprogreso metlaeng isu ngarud nga agyaman kami ti panangakseptar yu ti development,” Tubban stressed.


He likewise expressed recognition to the agencies and to all offices who played key role with the approval of the sub-project, committing support for such development measures.
