Here are the new set of leaders in Tanudan, Kalinga for next three years

Tanudan, Kalinga – The people of Tanudan, Kalinga have chosen their new set of leaders.

While the mayoral position was given with no opposition to incumbent Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, several candidates battled in the vice mayoral and councilor races – 3 candidates and 23 aspirants, respectively.

When it was time for the 10,017 registered voters to cast their ballots, most of them favored Attorney Antonio Basungit Jr. to be their Vice Mayor in the next three years.

For the Sangguniang Bayan, the eight posts have been occupied by Eusebio Salicanto, Leon Bulakit, Shelton Pao-iton, Lourdes Masa-ao, Alex Ladwingon, Johnny Liddawa, Helen Gacadan, and Federico Tiggangay.

This new set of political leaders in Tanudan was proclaimed by the Comelec on May 13.

Extending his congratulations to the newly elected officials, Mayor Dagadag asks for their cooperation and support, saying that a harmonious working relationship between the legislative and executive brings fast and continuous progress in the municipality.

“Tumulong da latta, maki-cooperate da kadagitoy napipintas nga programa iti gobyerno tayo, dagiti programa iti LCE. Nalpas iti election, agkakadwa tayo manen amin nga agtrabaho para iti agtultuloy nga pagdur-asan iti ili tayo,” he expressed.
