Hundreds of iKalingas benefit from FREE gov’t services during Nationwide Celebration of “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat”

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Hundreds of iKalingas benefited from a variety of government services during the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” nationwide celebration, a program that brings government programs closer to the people, held on September 13 at the Kalinga Astrodome in Bulanao.


As part of the administration’s push for accessible services, iKalinga jobseekers were served during the nationwide event through the concerted effort of the Kalinga Provincial Government headed by Governor James S. Edduba, national line agencies, non-government organizations, and other local stakeholders.


The occasion convened several government agencies including DILG, DOH, PAG-IBIG, DOLE, DSWD, DTI, DENR, DAR, BFB, LTO, among others, providing a one-stop shop of services, programs, and opportunities for the people of Kalinga.

Among the highlights of the event is the job fair which opened employment opportunities to jobseekers highlighting the government’s commitment to uplift local communities by providing job matching, skills training, health and wellness services, and social assistance programs.


Said job vacancies offered during the fair included livelihood programs, local, national and overseas jobs. Other essential public services were also offered through the different booths and assistance desks set up at the venue.


The event was attended by various local and regional stakeholders including the DTI Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona who delivered President Ferdindand Marcos Jr.’s message, DILG-CAR Assistant Regional Director Director Ruperto B. Maribbay Jr., CESO V, and office of the Congresswoman represented by Reggie Wacas, among others.


The provincial officials expressed their appreciation for the strong collaboration between national and government agencies, which helped ensure the success of the activity.
