Tabuk City, Kalinga - The unique craftsmanship and creativity of iKalinga manufacturers and artisans are on display and being sold to the public at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, through the 2025 National Trade Fair of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Supported by the “Tatak Pinoy” program, the 5-day trade fair is focused on showcasing local Filipino designs and supporting various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from around the country to promote their locally made products.

The event features three main sections of Filipino craftsmanship - footwear (highlights generations-old shoemaking techniques), hand-carved furniture (showcases Filipino woodworking skills), and fashion (features textiles that reflect cultural identity).

The participation of Kalinga MSMEs in the exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the province’s rich cultural heritage to a wider audience through their collections of authentic handwoven textiles, indigenous fashion pieces, handicrafts, and other innovative creations.

The DTI-Kalinga is inviting the public to explore the booths and support ongoing efforts to promote locally made products.

“Discover the authentic craftsmanship and culture of Kalinga through our proudly homegrown exhibitors – from intricate handwoven textiles, fashion accessories and handicrafts to creative local innovations that showcase our heritage and artistry. Visit our exhibitors and bring home a piece of Kalinga. See you at the National Trade Fair! ,” the agency invites.

The national trade fair takes place until July 27.
