Kalinga PLGU donates vitamins to Dagupan Centro

Tabuk City, Kalinga – To help boost the nutrition and immunity of the people of Barangay Dagupan Centro, Captain George Esteras requested for the provision of Vitamin C with Zinc from the provincial government of Kalinga.

This February, around 44 boxes of vitamins were received by the barangay from the Office of Governor Ferdinand Tubban.

In an interview, Esteras disclosed that last December 2021, he sent a letter to the governor for the provincial government to donate vitamins to add to the inadequate supply of the barangay.

The barangay captain said he made the decision to request for the aid to help his constituents in their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

After finishing the documentary reports, the barangay officials started distributing the vitamins to the community last week.

According to Esteras, there are still remaining vitamins at his office. Interested individuals, he said, only need to go to the Dagupan Centro Barangay hall and will be accommodated.

The barangay captain expressed gratitude to Governor Tubban and Kalinga PLGU for the support and assistance that he has continuously extended to the people of the barangay.
