Kalinga police cast votes for Local Absentee Voting

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The local police officers in Kalinga cast their votes for the May 2025 Local Absentee Voting.

 

Absentee voters are workers whose duty falls on election day such as the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, and media practitioners.

 

For the 2025 Midterm polls, the Commission on Elections approved a total of 57,689 absentee voters application. Of the data, 29,030 were AFP personnel, 23,448 are police officers, and 1,005 are media practitioners.

 

The remaining 4,206 approved application were personnel of Comelec, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Philippine Coast Guard.

 

On Tuesday, April 29, the Kalinga Police Provincial Office informed that the local police officers in the province had shaded and cast their ballots for the May 12 polls at Camp Captain Juan M Duyan in Bulanao.

 

The 2025 Local Absentee Voting will end on April 30.
