Tabuk City, Kalinga―Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Vice-Governor Dave Odiem committed to help out the members of the Kalinga Veterans District (KVD) in reiterating the grant of lot donation that is previously awarded to them through Resolution No. 2009-091.

The august body moved to refer the request of the KVD during their regular session on May 04 to implement the Resolution No. 2009-091.

The said resolution which was submitted over a decade ago authorized the donation of lot area of 800 sq. meters to the Kalinga Veterans District within the government reservation. Nevertheless, the site was later occupied by the completed building of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).

With this, the members of the KDV appealed for the replacement of the donated lot.

Vice Governor Odiem, during the session, acknowledged that it is their duty to assist the members of the KVD and expressed support to reiterate for the implementation of the lot donation considering that there is already an existing resolution to be acted upon.

On the other hand, Board Member Mark Aldrich Diasen moved for the approval of the matter to be referred to the committee on Government Reservation together with an issued letter addressed to the Office of the Governor, Government Reservation, and other concerned offices.

“Refer the matter to the chairman on Government Reservation with the letter reiterating the Provincial Governor of the Resolution 2009-091, nu kas ano ti status na, nu mabalin na nga i-implement and then diyay master plan na for as to know anya ti available lot para ti veterans,” he said.
