Kape Festival: Mayor Dagadag invites everyone to Tanudan 62nd Founding Anniv. Celebration

Tanudan, Kalinga – The municipality of Tanudan is turning 62 years, and the town has gone so far and grown beyond the expectations of its forefathers since it has been founded in in 1963.

Recently, the municipality was recognized as one of the most progressive places in Kalinga in recent years.

With 62 years of thriving and striving, the Tanudan people will gather to mark the town's 62nd Founding Anniversary and 10th Kape Festival on June 23-25, 2025, in Banagao, Poblacion.

The three-day activity is divided into three major events: the Search for Miss Tanudan 2025, the Kape Festival, and the commemoration of the 62nd Founding Anniversary.

The search will have 14 candidates from the different barangays to battle their way for the much-coveted crown in town on June 23.  The Kape Festival, meantime, will take place the following day, June 24, wherein activities celebrating culture and agriculture are lined-up along with the Barangay Night, which will celebrate grassroots governance.

The last day of the 3-day event will be reserved for the commemoration of the 62nd Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Tanudan.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag is inviting everyone to come and celebrate with the iTanudans from June 23 – 25, as the town will be painted with festivity through the array of activities which shall celebrate achievements, solidify bonds, and embody the culture and heritage left by the forefathers of Tanudan.
