Man, with 2 sons, charged for sexually abusing 12-yr.-old daughter

Cauayan City, Isabela – A man and his two sons are now spending time in jail after allegedly raping and impregnating a 12-year-old family member in San Fermin, Cauayan City. The man discredited the charge saying he is innocent.

The three accused in the case include 16-year-old ‘Alyas Balong’ who was listed as Isabela’s Top 9 Most Wanted Person. His arrest warrant for statutory rape with no bail was served by the authorities on June 24, 2024 and another son whose details were withheld.

Balong’s father hidden under the name Bert told Bombo Radyo Cauayan that they were shocked when they learned that his 12-year-old daughter, the victim, was pregnant.

Bert said he was first charged for allegedly raping her daughter but he denied the accusations, saying his conscience is clear.

He added it pained him to see his family in this situation and that he has no idea which among his two sons impregnated the victim as he cannot talk to them properly about the incident.

As of this writing, the three suspects are under police custody as they will be answering the charges filed against them.
