Baguio City, Philippines – Over one thousand nursing graduates attempt to get their professional license by passing the two-day board examination in Baguio City on May 5 – 6.

Baguio City is one of the testing centers for the May 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE). The others include National Capital Region, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

This Monday, the Professional Regulation Commission Cordillera informed that a total of 1,252 PNLE examinees are taking the test at the Summer Capital, telling the public to expect heavy traffic towards the testing venue.

The PRC Cordillera, moreover, reminded the examinees to be cautious against fixers.

“#BewareOfFixers who pose as or claim to know a Professional Regulatory Board Chairperson/Member or PRC officials/employees and offer their services to help you PASS the licensure examination or facilitate any transaction in exchange for a hefty amount of money,” the agency wrote.

It could be recalled that the previous PNLE which was held in November 2024 produced 29,349 newly registered nurses, this is 84.99% of the takers.
