P132M proposed development projects lined up for Tanudan this 2021

Tanudan, Kalinga―Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag together with Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang and Department of Public Works and Highways-Lower Kalinga District Engineering Office (DPWH-LKDEO) District Engineer Ruby Uyam and staff conducted inspection in different areas of the municipality for the implementation of development projects for the year 2021.


Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag narrated that they visited Matelled section, Akwar section and Tanudan Boundary to inspect the areas before the implementation of the proposed projects intended for this year 2021.


He said the banagao to Lobo project worth 50 million pesos. Additionally, the saddle road located in Akwar Section in Barangay Babbanoy has a proposed budget of 40 million pesos. Said project is waiting for the approval of its modification.


10 million worth of project is also proposed under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI))-DPWH convergence for the concreting of the Bawac-Banneng road.


11 portions of Tabuk-Banawe via Tanudan-Barlig Road is proposed for the construction of its Road Slope Management System (RSMS) with a 32 million budget fund.


Meantime, Dagadag mentioned that they also visited the Tanudan bridge project crossing the Tanudan river at Dumanay which was delayed due to several circumstances most especially the COVID-19 pandemic.

Said bridge is a vital link to the municipal center of Tanudan located at Banagao, Poblacion and to connect upper barangays to the circumferential-provincial road from Taloctoc to Mangali to the national highway. It will also provide alternate route from Tabuk City to Banawe.

Dagadag is hopeful that the inspection conducted is the beginning of more development projects to be implemented in their municipality aiming to alleviate the lives of the people.
