Tabuk City, Kalinga - Provincial Governor Engr. Ferdinand B. Tubban gave recognition to the significant role of peacekeepers pointing out that progress and development can only be achieved with peace, order, and safety in a certain area.

He said that if peace, order, and safety are absent, it would be difficult to turn the wheel of the local economy and gain the confidence of investors to establish their business and create more job opportunities in the locality.

The governor, during the Blessing and Inauguration Ceremony of the new Lubuagan Municipal Police Station this July 2, 2021, lauded the establishment of the new building of the police force.

He said that this will definitely boost their morale in carrying out their duties and functions as keepers of law and order in this area, adding “this edifice symbolizes our unity and commitment to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of our police force especially in the performance of their duties and functions as law enforcers.”

Tubban then appealed to the leadership of the station to maintain a peaceful and orderly environment for the whole municipality. It is essential, he said, for them to be equipped with relevant knowledge and expertise in dealing with critical issues related to crimes and other lawful activities committed.

The provincial governor then asked all stakeholders and constituents to support the programs of the Philippine National Police as the officers ‘need our support in order to succeed in our cause to instill peace and order.’

“Tumulong tayo a mang-bantay ti lugar tayo para iti pagimbagan ti tunggal maysa kadatayo. Dakayo kuma iti panaka-mata da, panaka-lapayag da, panaka-ngiwat da to provide reliable information at any given time and situation for the sake of peace,” Governor Tubban states

Regional Director Police Brigadier General (PBGEN) Ronald O. Lee, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, and Police Colonel (PCOL) Davy Vicente Limmong of Kalinga Police Provincial Office also graced the event.
