Sabangan son is 2024 PNPA top graduate


Sabangan, Mt. Province – A brave man hailing from Sabangan, Mt. Province is the lone Cordilleran cadet to make it to the Top 10 honor roll of the Philippine National Police Academy Class of 2024.

 

Among the members of the PNPA LAYAG-DIWA (Lingkod-bayang may Adhikaing buksan ang bagong Yugto At Gabayan ang bagong henerasyon na may Dangal, Integridad, at Walang Alinlangan) Class of 2024, Police Cadet Bernard Carlos Dawayen ranked eighth in the final order of merit.

 

As earlier announced by the academy, Dawayen will be joined by six other male cadets and three females.


Other male top graduates include Jail Cadet Joemar Saldavia from Zamboanga Del Norte (Rank 2), Police Cadet Vince Jamsid Sapii from Zamboanga City (Rank 3), Police Cadet Mark Ferd Barte from Zamboanga Sibugay (Rank 4), Mark Anrue Peña from Manila (Rank 5), Police Cadet John Rade Caballero from Negros Occidental (Rank 9), and Police Cadet Emerson Mallorca from Caloocan City (Rank 10).

 

The class valedictorian is female police cadet Ma. Camille Cabasis from Batangas, while two other females, namely Mary Ranelie Salga from Bukidnon and Brenna Mae Stephanie Nacional from Western Samar ranked sixth and seventh, respectively.

 

Meanwhile, Police Cadet Trisha Mae Guzman from La Trinidad, Benguet will be conferred with Servant Leadership Award.

 

This year’s graduating batch will have their commencement exercise next Friday, April 19, at Camp BGen Cicero Campos Field, PNPA, Silang, Cavite.
