Sangiao defeats Mongolian opponent via naked choke at ONE Fight Night 33

La Trinidad, Benguet - With strong fists and calm in his strategy, Jhanlo Mark “The Machine” Sangiao again showed the world what Cordilleran fighters are made of after a dominant win over his Mongolian opponent at ONE Fight Night 33. 

On July 12, 2025, Sangiao faced Shinechagta Zoltsetseg in a bantamweight MMA bout at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. 

The two went head-to-head trading blows, showing grappling skills, and pushing each other to the limits of their strength and endurance through the first two rounds of the fight. 

The two absorbed the pressure and were able to stay strong until the third round. Just seconds before the final round, Sangiao forced the Mongolian to tap after a naked choke. 

The official stepped in and stopped the fight less than 20 seconds before round three ended. 

With his win this Juy 12, Sangiao now holds 7 wins with 1 loss in his professional MMA record.

Sangiao expressed deep gratitude to the Almighty and to everyone who stood with him through the fight camp and beyond.
