Tabuk City election running peacefully; electorate reminded to report any disturbances to police

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A new set of leaders in Tabuk City will be named in a few hours as thousands of voters have gone to their precints to cast their ballots on Monday, May 12.

 

Tabuk City, having 74,572 registered voters, is the battle ground for the provincial elective posts in Kalinga.

 

Talking to GURU Press Cordillera while making his rounds to the different polling precincts, Tabuk City Police Chief, PLtCol. Benson Macli-ing informed that the casting of ballots in the city is orderly and peaceful as of this writing.


“Makitkita tayo met ket napintas so far. Awan met iti aggul-gulo, awan met makitkita tayo nga madi ar-aramiden da,” he said.

 

To uphold the decade-record of having a peaceful election, the Tabuk City police urges the public to immediately bring to their attention any disturbances in their area.

 

“Tulungan da iti kapulisan tapnu nu mapan da agbotos ket napintas latta iti kapya ken talna. Nu adda makita tayo nga madi ket i-report tayo iti kapulisan tapnu ma-addressan,” Macli-ing appealed.
