‘Tabuk City police will remain apolitical’ – Tabuk COP Dinulong


Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Tabuk City police force is and will remain apolitical. This was assured by Police Lieutenant Colonel Dinulong Tombali during the first day of the Voter's Education and Media Forum on April 5, 2022.


Tabuk City Chief of Police PLtCol. Tombali explained that the main concern of the Philippine National Police is to ensure peace and order this election.

“We are limited as an organization to become apolitical nga inbaga ni Chief PNP mi, ket iti dayta nga apolitical a stand mi ket it will only be limited to the maintenance of peace and order iti siyudad tayo a Tabuk City,” he said.


He added that they are counting on the peace covenant, which the candidates vying for different elective positions signed last March. The covenant, he said, signifies that these political aspirants have agreed and that they are united to keep and maintain a peaceful and orderly election.


“Dagidiay several candidates tayo ket nagpirma iti covenant nga isuda ket umannugot da iti panagmentenar iti honest, orderly, and peaceful election iti siyudad tayo ket dagidiay iti igigeman tayo tatta a iti panangkita mi, kanyami iti security sector, ket we will be having a peaceful election iti May 9, hopefully with those instances a nangyari idi,” he conveyed.


Dinulong also took the chance to remind the political candidates to live up to that peace covenant they have signed.

As for the voters, the Chief of Police encourages them not to waste this opportunity to choose the next set of leaders of Tabuk City.


“Kadagitoy voters tayo, nu May 9 the decision iti panangbotos yu iti leaders tayo ket adda idiay ima yun ket sa pay kuma haan yu a sayangen diay a tyansa a mang-decide iti masakbayan iti Tabuk City for the next three years,” he underscored. .
