Tabuk City recorded 116 positive cases from 2,537 tests


Tabuk City, Kalinga – Out of the 2,537 specimens taken for the first three days, February 18 -20, of the aggressive community testing in the city, 4.57 % or 116 tested positive with Covid-19.


Based on the data released by the official Facebook page of Tabuk City Local Government Unit, 603 individuals were tested on the first day of ACT wherein 46 have tested positive with the virus.


From the 46 positive cases, 1 is from the 280 specimens taken in Bulanao Norte (DepEd and Central); 30 from 91 in Malin-awa; 15 from 134 in Balawag; and 0 from 98 specimens taken at Tabuk City Hall.

As to the second day, 31 tested positive from 1,124 specimens. Twenty-two is from the 523 specimens taken in Bulanao Centro (Barangay Hall and Southern Tabuk Central School); 4 from 109 at Kalinga State University; 0 from 91 at Provincial Capitol; and 5 from 401 specimens taken at Tabuk City Hall.


For the third day, 39 out of 810 were positive. This is 23 from 401 specimens taken in Casigayan; 3 from 86 in Agbannawag; 12 from 151 in Bado Dangwa; and 1 from 172 specimens taken at Tabuk City Hall.


Meanwhile, results of the 4th and last day of ACT in Tabuk City is yet to be released.


Pasil, on the other hand, started their aggressive community testing today, February 23, with 1,205 target individuals from three barangays. Lubuagan’s turn shall be on February 24 to 25.
