TAMPCO welcomes 7 newly hired staff to their workforce

Tabuk City, Kalinga- To strengthen their workforce, Tabuk Multipurpose Cooperative (TAMPCO) on May 3 started training six newly employed account officers and one internal audit assistant.


After announcing the seven job vacancies to the public, acting CEO Reverend Claudio Bagano said there were more than 100 individuals who submitted the needed requirements before the deadline on March 31, 2021. However, only ten from the main office and four from each field offices passed the examination and took the interview for selection.


The said new staff will undergo a month duration of training to familiarize themselves on loan, administrative and finance processing before they carry out their actual duties.


“Awanen maibagak kinyada because some of them are CPA, but this training here at main office ket tapnu ma-orient da about the operation of the CO-OP,” he added.



New members of the workforce glad with new job


The lucky applicants given employment said they are thankful for the opportunity given them to be part of the CO-OP’s employees to serve the community.


In a phone interview with Ralph Mark Rabago, assigned new account officer of Pinukpuk branch, he mentioned that he really wanted to get a job and saw the Job opening on a Facebook page.

Rabago is a father of two children, and he is currently a job order employee of Pinukpuk Municipality when he found out about the job vacancies. He thought of applying because he wants to be an account officer.


“Agyamanak kin apo… kin ti TAMPCO ta inikkan nak ti chance nga makatrabaho kinyada,” he exclaimed.

Similar to Rabago, Mercy Grace Lumang-ay is grateful to be part of the CO-OP workforce.

“Idi na-inform nak about kin dagitoy job vacancy ket naragsakan nak kase at that time agbirbiruk nak talaga ti trabaho isu nga dagus ko nga in-prepare dagiyay requirements tapnu ipasa, after diay examination, tinawagan dak for interview and I was grateful nga siyak ti maysa nga naala nga account officer because it will be an ease for my financial difficulties,” Lumang-ay said.


Apart from Lumang-ay being assigned at Main office, Valerie Lingbawan likewise is joining the main office team as the internal audit assistant.


Meantime, the new Account Officers will be assigned to various areas. Diana Tacwigan will be deployed to Liwan branch, Donabel Villanueva to Santiago branch, Leny Villanueva to Quezon branch, and Julia Cleah Wanden to Conner branch.
