Tanudan gets new ambulance for BFP; improved and more efficient response to emergencies expected

Tanudan, Kalinga – The Municipality of Tanudan, known for its efficient emergency response with ambulances on standby not just for iTanudans but for iKalingas, received an additional unit, particularly for the Bureau of Fire Protection in the municipality.


Currently, the Tanudan LGU has five ambulances and six rescue cars on standby 24/7 for emergencies and calamities to aid response teams. These vehicles have been attending to the needs of iTanudans and have been responding to calls of their constituents and anyone in need in the province.

Designate Information Officer and Executive Assistant to Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, John Ryan Awingan, informed that the municipality’s BFP has been given an ambulance this August. This is through the request of Mayor Dagadag from the BFP National Office, which was granted and approved by BFP Fire Director Jesus Piedad Fernandez.


With the additional ambulance for Tanudan, specifically for its BFP personnel, Dagadag conveyed his gratitude to Fernandez for acting on their request, saying the provision of the unit further strengthens the emergency response in Tanudan.


“Nag-request tayo ta masapul iti ambulance para kadagiti BFP personnel tayo nga maysa nga frontliner nu adda emergencies like accidents. Isu nga pagyamyamanan tayo ta adda iti naidagdag manen nga ambulance iti municipality tayo ta iti kayat tayo talaga ket well-equipped iti response and rescue teams tayo, ken adda dagitoy nga lugan nga mausar ta haan tayo met ammu nu kaano nga adda emergency wennu didigra,” he expressed.
