Tanudan LGU delivers jugs of water to Sacpil, Conner amid water borne disease outbreak

Tanudan, Kalinga – Extending a hand when others are in need, the Local Government Unit of Tanudan has once again stepped up and responded to the suspected waterborne disease outbreak in Conner, Apayao.

Recently, the Rural Health Unit of Conner observed multiple admissions of individuals from Barangay Sacpil, Conner, over diarrhea and other symptoms due to contamination in local water sources.

Responding to the need of the people, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag personally led a team from the Tanudan LGU to deliver jugs of water to Sacpil and Coloan, Pinukpuk, today, May 20, 2025. This was confirmed by Executive Assistant to Mayor Dagadag and Designate Information Officer John Ryan Awingan.

In a statement, the Tanudan local chief executive expressed the importance of showing up and lending assistance to others during times of emergencies.

“Nu kakastoy nga emergency, the more tayo nga agmaymaysa ken haan kuma nga agduwa-duwa nga tumulong kadagiti kakabsat tayo nga agkailangan,” he conveyed.
