Tanudan Mayor Dagadag elected as President of LMP Kalinga

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag was elected to lead the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Kalinga Chapter in championing the collective interests of the six towns in Kalinga.

The selection of the new set of LMP - Kalinga officials was made on September 11 at the Provincial Capitol and was attended by the local chief executives and their representatives. The activity was chaired by Balbalan Mayor Almar Malannag who emphasized the importance of unity among the LCEs, saying that it sets the bar of cooperation among the constituents.

These mayors unanimously chose Tanudan Mayor Dagadag to be the president while Tinglayan Mayor Charles Abay was selected as the Secretary. Additionally, Mayor Malannag was elected the treasurer; Rizal Mayor Karl Baac as Auditor, and Pasil Mayor Silvestre Mosing was selected as the Public Relations Officer.

The LMP Kalinga new board of directors, meantime, was composed of Lubuagan Mayor Joel Tagaotao and Pinukpuk Mayor Jimmy Dasayon.

When asked about his plans as the new president of LMP Kalinga Chapter, Dagadag shared that there will be a quarterly meeting among the LCEs to discuss needs and concerns in their respective towns. He added that projects and funding the LMP will be sourcing out from the national will be equally and equitably distributed in the different towns.
