Tinglayan LGU honored for contribution to 4Ps beneficiaries improved well-being

Tinglayan, Kalinga - The local government unit of Tinglayan's commitment to excellence in public service and community development was once again recognized, this time by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

On Monday, January 15, the LGU received a plaque of recognition and a certificate honoring their exemplary support for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

According to the DSWD, Tinglayan LGU has been backing the program through outstanding delivery of programs and services, contributing to the sustainability of the beneficiaries' improved level of well-being. This is in addition to their timely submission of monitoring tools and effective program execution needed by the agency.

In response to the award, Mayor Sacrament Gumilab emphasized the LGU's commitment through his leadership to ensure the program's sustained successful implementation in the locality, with positive impacts on constituents.

He also acknowledged how the 4Ps program, in collaboration with other national agencies, partner organizations, and local government units, has significantly improved education, health, and nutrition for Filipino families in Tinglayan.

Expressing gratitude to the 4Ps program for its pivotal role in fostering development and well-being, he assured continued support for the program.
