Tinglayan LGU lauds yTongrayan PMA cum laude, athletic saber awardee

Tinglayan, Kalinga – The municipal local government of Tinglayan commends the 23-year-old cadet from Bangad who is set to graduate with a Latin honor and an award from the Philippine Military Academy.

Ytongrayan Cadet 1CL John Rozz Oggang will be graduating from the prestigious military institution on May 21 as cum laude and Athletic Saber awardee.

He belongs to the PMA’s MAndirigmang may DAngal SImbolo ng Galing at PagbangON (MADASIGON) Class 2023.

With the 23-year-old’s accomplishment, Tinglayan LGU headed by Mayor Sacrament Gumilab praised the young cadet’s dedication and perseverance.

“The Municipality of Tinglayan commends you for a job well done. You have brought honor to our municipality. Your courage and perseverance is truly admirable,” Gumilab wrote on the Official Facebook account of the LGU.

Gumilab added that Oggang’s persistence and hard work inspire the people in Tinglayan to do the same.

“It inspires us to dream and face our life challenges with hard work and unwavering determination. With your example, many young Tinglayaños are encouraged to aim for a brighter future and achieve their goals in life,” he said.

The mayor likewise wished Oggang well in his future endeavors.
