Tinglayan Mayor Abay seeks assistance to upgrade health services, mentions putting up of District Hospital

Tinglayan, Kalinga – While waiting for the erection of the Tinglayan District Hospital which will provide better health service to iTinglayans, Mayor Charles Abay sought the assistance of the Kalinga Provincial Government in upgrading the services of the health center in Tinglayan.

 

Abay attended the Provincial Health Board meeting on Friday, September 5, where he raised the need to upgrade health services in his town. Abay said while Municipal LGU works on completing the requirements needed to start the construction of the Tinglayan District Hospital, the services being provided by the health center needs to be upscaled to better cater the needs of his constituents.

 

Tinglayan has a share of P30 million from the PLGU start-up loan.

 

In response to the request of Mayor Abay, Governor James Edduba directed the Office of the Provincial Health Officer to provide technical assistance to Tinglayan.

 

With this, Abay conveyed his appreciation to the PLGU and the governor for granting his request and for helping the Municipal LGU upgrade its health care system.

 

“Agpasalamat tayo iti PLGU ken kenni Govenor Edduba ta kanayon da nga sisusuporta iti programa tayo iti health ta daytoy iti maysa nga prioridad tayo. Habang pagur-urayan tayo idiay plano tayo nga hospital, agpatulong tayo iti PLGU tapnu ma-improve tayo pay iti health services para kadagiti taga Tinglayan,” Abay said, in a statement.
