Tinglayan prepares high school students in choosing profession through career coaching


Tinglayan, Kalinga – High school learners in Tinglayan underwent career coaching to help them prepare for the profession they want to pursue.


This convention of learners transpired simultaneously at Saint Theresita's School, Tinglayan National High School, and Bangad National High School on May 05, according to the Municipal Information Office.

The event dubbed as ‘Career Coaching and Career Employment of Grade 10-11-12’ was initiated by the Tinglayan Local Government Unit led by Mayor Sacrament Gumilab through the Public Employment Services Office.


Topics covered in the activity include self-assessment where the students were taught how they can know themselves better and choose the right career; research and decision making; and computer and language proficiency.


Tips on choosing the right job and company at the right time were likewise provided to the learners.

Municipal Executive Assistant Bartholome Aboli encouraged the participants to make and choose the right path for a better future.
