Police investigation revealed that the motorcycle crashed straight to the rear of the truck which was moving toward the side of the road to park. Due to the force of the impact, the rider sustained severe injuries, resulting in his death.

The second incident, accordingly, transpired along the National Highway in Barangay Samonte just hours after the first one, which involved a Kawasaki RS 200 of a 29-year-old man and also an Isuzu Giga truck driven by a resident of Appas, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

In this incident, the motorcycle was said to be heading to Tuguegarao City while the truck was on the other lane going towards Mallig. Upon reaching the scene of the incident, the motorcycle was said to have swerved suddenly into the opposite lane and collided head on with the oncoming truck.

The rider was severely injured due to the collision and succumbed to the injuries he sustained.

The same report of the said local media outlet mentioned that both parties expressed to police their willingness to settle the matter amicably.
