TWO young men die on the spot after their motorcycle hit concrete barrier in Echague, Isabela

Echague, Isabela - Two men, both in their 20s, died on the spot after a tragic road accident in Echague, Isabela, in the evening of Monday, October 13, 2025. 

The victims, according to XFM-Santiago, were identified by the police as alias “Christian,” 21, a resident of Santiago City, and alias “Adonis,” 24, from Barangay Diasan, Echague. 

A report from Echague Police Station obtained by the said media disclosed that the two were traversing the road in Barangay Road, Villa Campo, around 11:00 p.m. of said date when their motorcycle hit a concrete barrier. 

Due to the severe injuries they sustained from the force of the impact, Christian and Adonis were reported to have died at the scene of incident. 

A concerned citizen who witnessed the event quickly notified the authorities. When the police arrived at the area, they was said the bodies had already been brought to a funeral. 

The victims’ bodies are now at their residents for their wake.

What happened in Echague on October 13 adds to a series of road accidents in Isabela this month. On October 7, two motorcycle riders were also killed in separate accidents in Quezon. 

The victims were identified as a 53-year-old farmer and a 29-year-old man, whose motorcycles, respectively, hit and collided head-on with the same Isuzu Giga truck. 

For their part, concerned authorities have always been reminding motorists to always practice caution, adhere to traffic rules, stay vigilant, and avoid driving while intoxicated to avoid accidents on the road.
