UBian alumna tops August 2023 Sanitary Engineers board exam

Baguio City, Philippines – A graduate from the University of Baguio emerged as the second placer in the August 2023 licensure examination for sanitary engineers.


Based on the official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Wednesday, Sept. 06, 76 out of 162 examinees have passed the board exam held on Aug. 29 in Metro Manila, Davao, and Rosales.


UBian alumna Aizel Torchangon Salagma, from Barangay Macalana, Barlig, Mt. Province, scored 83.70 percent and is just points behind Neil Spencer Roxas Almario from Mapua University-Manila who lorded over the examination with an average of 83.80 percent.


Overall, UB recorded a 72.73 passing rate. Eight out of the 11 examinees from the university passed. They are Almira C. Aguban, Abigail L. Babaran, Jeddys M. Bacoto, Marrianne Jay E. Callejo, Karen C. Lozada, Jessica M. Malit, and Genesis D. Lumiib.

Board passers can register online for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration from Oct. 13 to 16, according to the PRC.


The commission said the date and venue of the oathtaking will be announced soon.
