Now on its 4th edition, the Lumin-awa Trek will be having adventurers immersed in the culturally-rich communities in Tinglayan from February 5-7 with Apo Whang-od waiting for them at the end of the adventure.

Activities for the trek include village hopping and cultural immersion, bonfire dinners and solidarity nights, swimming at Palang-ah Falls and A-atungan Hotspring, view of scenic mountain trails and rice terraces, and a meet-and-greet with Whang-od in Buscalan.

The event will start in Sitio Char-ig in Barangay Mallango where the participants will hike to the Man-obal to Barangay Sumadel where Camp 1 will be established.  The night will feature cultural performances from indigenous performers.
