Wanted brothers killed wanted sibling

Pinukpuk, Kalinga – Brothers accused of killing their own sibling who is one of Pinukpuk’s most wanted individuals were apprehended by the police through arrest warrants this January 15.


Based on the report of Kalinga Police Provincial Office, suspects are identified as Ruben Gaano, 59 and Regino Gaano, 54. Both are residents of Pinupuk and also listed as number 1 and 2 top most wanted persons in Kalinga for the first quarter of 2021.


The two are accused of murder for shooting their sibling who was one of the most wanted individuals in Pinukpuk on July 28, 2017.


There was no bail recommended for the two.


Meanwhile, Tabuk City’s top 5 most wanted individual was arrested on the same date in Barangay Bulanao.


Suspect identified by the police as Shad Dimara, 33 is facing a case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. His bail was recommended to P200,000.


Kalinga Police Provincial Director PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong commends both the effort of the police and the community, stressing that with such collaboration, arresting wanted individuals would not lead to any untoward incidence.


He added that their campaign against criminality shall be further strengthened especially the arrest of wanted people in order for their case to start moving.


“Ken at the same time malinisan metlaeng iti nagnagan da nu man pay adda iti rason [or] nu haan nga da isuda iti nakabasol,” he said said.


“Amin kuma nga dagitoy wanted persons, ket makatulong la unay nu dagitoy ket under control en ken maikulong da ken sangwen da dagitoy kaskaso da,” he added.
