Winning Apayao Provincial leaders, Rep. proclaimed; Cong. Bulut-Begtang underlines putting platforms into actions

Apayao, Philippines - The 2025 midterm National and Local Elections (NLE) is over and the people made their decision which granted seats for political leaders.

 

In Apayao, elected Provincial leaders were already proclaimed.

 

Continuing their legacy of good governance, re-elect Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. and Congresswoman Eleanor Bulut-Begtang, and first-termer Vice Governor Kyle Mariah Chelsea Bulut-Cunan, who all ran unopposed, received total votes of 58,175, 58,041, and 56,046, respectively. 

 

The Board members elected for new three-year terms in the First District are Alison Betat (NPC) with 20,076 votes, Jun Labueng (NPC) with 20,015 votes, Iying Agnas-Real (LAKAS) with 19,621 votes, Vincent Talattag (NPC) with 19,464 votes, and Girlie Laylay-uy (LAKAS) with 19,279 votes.

 

In the Second District, Josie Bangsil (NPC) topped the list with 20,729 garnered votes followed by Myla Ballesteros (LAKAS) with 19, 265 votes; Hector Reuel Pascua with 18,683 votes; Ricky Laoat (LAKAS) with 15,515 votes; and Vic Maruquin (LAKAS) with 13,078 votes.

 

With this new set of leaders, Lone District of Apayao representative Eleanor Bulut-Begtang in her words of gratitude posted in the Apayao Congress FB page encouraged the elected leaders to plan how to put into actions the platforms and agenda presented before the people during campaign for the betterment of the province.

 

‘’It is now time for us to sit and plan how to put actions our platforms and agenda for progress and development of Apayao for the next three years. Let us give the kind of service our people, the yApayaos, truly deserve. Let us not tire in holding our hands together so that our dreams shall never die,’’ the statement reads.

 

Meantime, the over 120,049 residents in Apayao conveyed expectations for their leaders’ unity, steady and responsive governance, more development initiatives and real solutions.
