If preparing for a board examination in only a month steals away chances of passing it – take a look at the feat of a daughter from Isabela who did not just nail one, but two licensure exams in April.

Leila Marie Gaffud of Santa Maria town is one of 2,820 examinees of the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination on April 2-3. She is also among the 2,411 takers of the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination on April 4.

Providing tangible evidence that everything is possible when you work for it, Leila, who graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of the Philippines Diliman, found her name in the list of passers in both licensure examinations on April 10.

In a Facebook post, Leila said she only had one month to ready herself for the two board exams. She also admitted she doubted if she could make it after skipping two licensure exam seasons.

“After skipping two board exams and giving my mind some much-needed rest, I wasn’t sure if I still had it in me. But by God’s grace, I made it through those three grueling exam days. Mama, Papa, engineer na po ang panganay niyo!,” she wrote.

The now double-license holder went on to thank her family – her mom who had to wake up early to cook for her, her dad who drove her to the testing center, and her two siblings, for their support, saying, “Hindi ko ‘to kakayanin kung wala kayo.”
