10 wanted persons caught in one-week simultaneous anti-criminality operation in Kalinga


Tabuk City, Kalinga – Ten wanted persons in Kalinga will now be facing the case filed against them after being arrested by the police during a one-week simultaneous anti-criminality operation from January 9 to 15.


Of the 10 wanted individuals, one is listed as the topmost wanted in the provincial level, while 2 in the city, states a report from the Kalinga Police Provincial Office.


The topmost wanted person in the province is facing a case for frustrated murder with bail recommended at P200,000. He was arrested in Dugpa, Pinukpuk on January 14.

Apart from the wanted individuals, the province-wide Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement launched last week likewise led to the discovery of P10,160,000 worth of marijuana plants in two separate marijuana eradications in Tinglayan.


Additionally, a high-value individual drug personality was also arrested during the weeklong anti-criminality campaign after he allegedly sold around .40 grams of suspected shabu to undercover police in a buy-bust operation.

Lastly, six loose firearms have been surrendered to the police during the said anti-criminality campaign.


In his statement, newly installed and Acting Kalinga Police Provincial Director, Police Colonel Peter Tagtag Jr. conveyed that the operations against criminality in Kalinga are continuous and that the police are relentless in maintaining the peace and order in the province.
