17.93% (30,187 est.) of yKalingas fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Around 30,187 individuals in the province are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. This is 17.93% of the 168,387 estimated people eligible to receive the jab.


Data from the Provincial Health Office reveals that, as of September 3, around 49,825 doses of CoronaVac, AstraZeneca, and Janssen have been administered in Kalinga.


Of this 49,825; 17,498 received Janssen, a single dose vaccine, while 19,638 have received their first dose and 12,698 have received their second dose of the vaccine.

These individuals who are already inoculated belong to A1 category or the health frontliners, A2 or the senior citizens, and A3 or adults with comorbidities.


Moreover, the uniformed men such as the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the Bureau of Fire Protection who belong to the A4 category have already started their vaccination.


The Local Vaccination Operations Center is conducting vaccination sessions in centralized and decentralized or outreach services. Delays in the rollout sometimes happen when health workers get infected with Covid-19.
