19 schools in Aguinaldo, Ifugao get portable media library

Updated: May 29, 2023

Aguinaldo, Ifugao – To help improve and strengthen education quality, at least 19 schools in Aguinaldo, Ifugao were given a Portable Media Library (PML).

The PML from the Knowledge Channel Foundation is an external hard disk drive loaded with over 1,500 curriculum-based video lessons, e-modules, e-session guides, and other related materials aligned with the Department of Education’s most essential learning competencies for learners to better grasp concepts and skills.

To retool teachers with instructional and visual tools, they were provided with online technical training prior to the distribution of the multimedia resources.

Teachers from the 14 elementary schools and five from high schools, along with Schools Division Superintendent Gloria B. Buya-ao, were present at CNRJ Function Hall in Ubao, Aguinaldo on May 17 to receive the PML from said organization.

Mayor Gaspar Chilagan Jr., together with Governor Jerry Dalipog, Vice-Mayor Roberto Lin-ang, and Councilor Sharon Dapuyen, likewise witnessed the turnover ceremony.

In her message, Buya-ao thanked the provincial government for funding the project. The PML, she added, will add engagement that shall inspire learners. In turn, teachers will renew their commitment to better serve the education department.

Mayor Chilagan Jr. and other local officials pledged support to the project.

Some schools in Banaue town also received Portable Media Library on the same distribution day.
