2025 Best Police Regional Office in the Philippines is PRO-Cordillera

La Trinidad, Philippines – The ‘Home of the Most Disciplined Cops’ in the country, the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region(PRO CAR), was hailed the Best Regional Office in the Philippines on August 12.

Celebrating 124th of Police Service, the Philippine National Police commemorated the event by honoring the ‘bravery, dedication, and service’ of the police in ensuring peace, order, and public safety in the country.

Part of the said celebration was the awarding of outstanding police officers, units, LGU partners, and stakeholders.

Leading the men and women of PRO CAR, the iKalinga General from Balbalan, PBGen. Ericson Dilag received the ‘Best Police Regional Office’ citation at the PNP National Headquarters at Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame in Quezon City, handed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Who also graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.

Additionally, some units under PRO CAR made it to the Top 3 of the different categories – the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) for Best PPO, the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) for Best MPS, and the 2nd Benguet Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) for Best PMFC.

For the individual category, PRO-CAR’s personnel broke into to the Top 5 in different categories – PCol. Francisco Bulwayan, Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer(PCO) for Administration; PCol. Ruel Tagel for the Best Senior PCO for Operations; PLtCol. Geraldine Aydoc for Best Junior PCO for Administration; PMSg. Jaynus Puno for Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration, and NUP Defiena Sagayo for the Best Non-Uniformed Personnel for Non-Supervisory Level.

The PRO CAR, through its Official page, attributed the citations to the ‘professionalism, bravery, and integrity’ of the Cordilleran cops, staff, and partner agencies.

The police regional office also enjoined the men and women of PRO CAR to let the recognition fuel their passion to serve the public with greater conviction and compassion.
