2026 Bodong Agro Fair sales hit ₱1.2M, up 41% from 2025

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The annual Kalinga Bodong Agro Fair has once again proven its role in boosting the local economy and helping local producers earn more income after generating over ₱1.2 million in sales.


Held from February 12 to 14, 2026, at the Capitol Tourism Park in Bulanao, Tabuk City, the fair featured a wide array of agricultural and local products from the seven municipalities and the lone city of Kalinga, along with partner agencies and organizations.


These products included vegetables, fruits, handicrafts, seedlings, coffee, unoy rice, ube jam, chili paste, woven products, clay jars, soft brooms, vinegar, wines, and many more.


Based on a report from the Kalinga Information Office, the fair generated a total of ₱1,210,704 in sales this year, with Balbalan once again recording the highest sales at ₱170,000. The municipality also posted the highest sales in 2025 with ₱180,610.


Other participating municipalities and the city include Tanudan with ₱160,456, followed by Tabuk City with ₱133,163 in sales; Rizal (₱103,305); Lubuagan (₱85,140); Tinglayan (₱77,605); Pasil (₱72,716); and Pinukpuk (₱63,298).


The eight LGUs recorded a combined total of ₱866,136 in sales.


Also contributing to the total sales were partner agencies and organizations, including the National Food Authority (₱136,800); KADIWA of the Department of Agriculture (₱74,333); Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (₱32,533); the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (₱20,197); BSABE–Kalinga State University (₱7,600); Young Farmers Challenge (₱2,275); and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (₱830).


These partner agencies and organizations recorded a combined total of ₱274,568 in sales.
