3 Pines City college graduates land in Top 10 of Respiratory Therapists Licensure Exam

Baguio City, Philippines - Three graduates of the Pines City Colleges landed in the Top 10 of the Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Some 955 out of 1,345 takers passed the board exam given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga on February 05 and 06, 2023.

In the results released two working days after the last day of examination, Desiery Kiray Antonio managed to have a 90 percent passing rate, thus making it to the Top 4. Jemmlee Epie Malado placed 5th with a rating of 89.75 percent, while Kristine Joy Depaynos Aloste secured the Top 8 spot with an 89 percent passing rate.

“Their achievement has once again placed Cordillera into the limelight of academic excellence,” said Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera as it shared a congratulatory post on Facebook.

In a related report, Hiyasmin Cortez Ramos, a graduate of Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus who traces her roots in Flora, Apayao is among those 5 that garnered 90.75 rating, therefore achieving the highest rank in said exam.

“Thank you for bringing pride to the Floranians & holding high the banner of the province by clinching the Top 1 Rank,” expressed the Flora government on its social media post.

Apayao solon, Eleanor Bulut-Begtang, along with Governor Elias Bulut Jr., likewise congratulated the topnotcher.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the board examination will be announced later.

Registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online from March 6-10 and March 13-16, 2023.
