Tabuk City, Kalinga – A market vendor in Dagupan lost her hard-earned money to three thieves around 9:00 in the morning today, July 20, 2022, while at work.

Based on what the victim related to Dagupan Punong Barangay George Esteras, the incident happened through coordinated actions of the three culprits with one distracting the seller, the other looking out, and one carrying out the thievery.

Esteras told Guru Press Cordillera that the seller at Tay-og’s stall entertained what she thought was a lady customer who checked on the curtains and bed sheets sold while two others were lingering nearby her stall.

The lady customer allegedly tried to distract her and keep her attention by asking questions about the products.

The seller believes it was then when one of the thieves took her wallet containing about 20,000 pesos, running away with the money.

Esteras was later able to get a photo of the lady customer who talked to the seller.

Esteras posted the photo on his FB account asking the public to help identify the lady in pink and yellow pants and call or message the police.

Esteras likewise reminds the people of Tabuk to remain vigilant in order not to be taken advantage of by these unscrupulous individuals.

He cited that just a month ago, around P100,000 worth of appliances were stolen from an establishment in Dagupan Centro.

“Nu makita da nga adda iti agin-gagatang nga tallo or duwa or group of persons nga adda iti maysa nga mangdis-distorbo ammu da diyayen kuma nga modus en,” he added.
