33-year-old man in Isabela arrested over four counts of rape, allegedly committed against own 14-year-old daughter

ISABELA, Philippines — A 33-year-old man accused of repeatedly raping his 14-year-old daughter was arrested on September 29, 2026, in Santa Maria, Isabela, according to the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO 2).


The suspect, identified only as alias “Intoy,” a resident of Santa Maria, is facing four counts of qualified rape of a minor. Police tagged him as the No. 2 regional most wanted person in the Cagayan Valley region.


The victim was identified as the suspect’s 14-year-old daughter.


According to police, the case came to light after the Santa Maria Police Station received a report on June 1, 2026, regarding alleged sexual abuse inside a house. Personnel from the Women and Children Protection Desk, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, responded to verify the report.


Police investigation allegedly established that the girl had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by her father inside their residence.


Based on the information gathered during the investigation, authorities filed charges against the suspect, leading to his arrest on September 29.


After his arrest, Intoy was brought into the custody of the Santa Maria Police Station for proper disposition.


Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley police regional director PBGen Mariano Rodriquez reiterated the commitment of PRO 2 to pursuing wanted persons and bringing them before the courts.


“Patuloy nating tutugisin ang mga wanted person, lalo na ang mga nahaharap sa mabibigat na kaso, upang maiharap sila sa hukuman at mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga biktima at kanilang pamilya na makamit ang hustisya. Makakaasa ang ating mga kababayan na walang humpay ang ating kapulisan sa pagtupad sa tungkuling panatilihin ang kapayapaan at kaligtasan ng ating mga komunidad,” he said.
