333 yTanudan get P15k DSWD livelihood grant


Tanudan, Kalinga – Around 333 individuals consisting of solo parents, person with disabilities (PWDs), and underprivileged in Tanudan, will soon receive P15,000 each livelihood grants to start a business.


A total of P5 million livelihood program was granted for said beneficiaries in Tanudan.


Held at Banagao, Poblacion on June 29, 2021, the beneficiaries were oriented and interviewed on the content and preparation for the financial assistance under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).


Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag initiated the sourcing out of said fund for the program through a resolution forwarded to Senator Bong Go, which is to be implemented through the Social Welfare and Development (SWAD).


“Daytoy ket initiative tayo by resolution ken Senator Bong Go, in-follow-up tayo inggana naikkan ti pondo,” he said.

“Ti inaramid mi ket equal sharing ti every Barangay isunga 20 individuals per Barangay ti Tanudan ken most priority tayo dagiyay, solo parents, PWD ken dagiyay awanan pulos pangalaan da a pamilya, dagiyay most in need a talaga,” he added.


Meantime, the SWAD informed that the tentative schedule of distribution of the financial assistance to the identified beneficiaries will be in the month of September.


SLP is a capacity building program which provides opportunities to the vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities to enhance their livelihood assets and capacity to utilize their resources more productively.
