𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬

Pudtol, Apayao- Pudtol municipal Mayor Hector Reuel Pascua expressed delight for the series of activities lined-up for the municipality’s 68th Founding Anniversary and 9th Pinya Festival during the Mayor’s Cup invitational Championship games.

Pascua, during the breaks of the games, welcomed guests and visitors as well as the invited players who came to play with the best players of the municipality.

‘’I am excited in this year’s celebration as this reflects the remarkable achievements and developments of the municipality,’’ said Pascua while mentioning a few of the milestones of progress in the town. The mayor, likewise, emphasized the role of sports and introduced invited guest ALAS Pilipinas and Choco Mucho Flying Titans Player, Ms. Cherry Ann ‘’SISI’’ Rondina.

This year’s town fiesta features its theme, ‘’Harvesting Gains: Cultivating Productivity to Sustain Growth with yPudtol Pride, and will run from June 27 to 29, 2024.

Board Member Kyle Bulut-Cunan, in her inspirational talk, related and commended the town’s significant progress.

“ Kagaya ng pinya, it takes time and effort for it to grow harvest. Maihahalintulad natin ang matatamis na Pinya ng Pudtol sa mga napakakagandang pagbabago dito sa ating lugar,” said the Board Member.

Bulut-Cunan further conveyed the necessity to sustain unity as this will help accelerate progress across the province, “Sapayla kuma ta agtultuloy latta ti napintas nga panagdadanggay tayo iti probinsya ken iti municipal LGU tapno agtultuloy latta met dagiti narugyan tayon a development ken tapno agkaykaysa tayo latta ah mang partwat wenno agaramid kadagiti pagsyaatan iti lugar tayo.’’

During the break of the games, the board member likewise distributed sports equipment to the Sangguniang Kabataan officials of the municipality as a show of support to the sports program of the town.
