56-yr.old-man dies after falling into excavated hole in Tabuk

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A middle-aged man was no longer breathing when he was brought to Kalinga Provincial Hospital, following a road accident Friday night, August 04.

Tabuk police investigators’ initial report revealed that the man identified to be Domifred Piano, 56, and resident of Purok 4, Bulanao, was driving his kulong-kulong along the national road in Bacras, Bulanao around 9:30 p.m.


He was heading towards Tuguegarao City direction.


As he approached the portion of the middle of the road that is under construction, the kulong-kulong he was driving plunged into an excavation.


Rescue team from the Bureau of Fire Protection rushed the victim to KPH. Piano, however, was declared dead at the hospital.


On Tuesday, August 01, another man in Tabuk City died of vehicular traffic accident.
